  1. Hello Sir, Your site is very helpful,i have a question regarding the difference between Emergency Compressor and Emergency Air Compressor under Critical Appliances. Please elaborate.

    1. Happy to hear that you like marinesite... Emergency compressor means the compressor which has a connection from emergency switch board (emergency gen). In some ships one of the main compressors is having connection from the emergency switch board; and the same act as an emergency compressor. you may not find a separate emergency air compressor. Emergency compressors always comes under critical equipment. You must have minimum spares (critical spares)always onboard
