What is Water Hammering?
When steam contact with cold area of the pipeline or in contact with water, it condenses and create vaccum, Which forces the water towards opened valve at high velocity and hit the valve with high speed make hammering sound.
How to Prevent Water Hammering?
> Drain the line before allowingsteam to the pipeline
> Slowly allow the steam by opening steam valve sowly
> Install steam trap in the line.
